Founded in 1949 by Ralph D. Gaines, Jr., Gaines, Gaines & Rasco, P.C. has achieved longevity and success by providing quality legal services with personal attention for clients throughout east central Alabama. Charles P. Gaines joined the firm in 1981, followed by Mark Rasco in 1990, Shaw Gaines in 1996 and Susan Haynes in 2008.  Offering a broad scope of legal services to its clients, the primary focus areas of the firm's practice are civil litigation in all state and federal courts of the region and real estate.
